The Migration (Skilling Australians Fund) Charges Act and Regulations 2018 commenced on 12 August 2018. From that date, employers nominating overseas workers for a permanent or temporary visa are required to pay a prescribed nomination training contribution charge. A 186 and 187 visa nominator should make a one off payment of $3,000 if their business turns over less than $10 million annually and $5,000 where more than $10 million. a TSS nominator should pay $1,200 for each and every year of the proposed visa period where their annual turnover is less than $10 million and $1,800 where the turnover is more than $10 million
